Convert your Harbor Freight Full Bank Service Cart into a compact, heavy-duty welding cart with this bolt-on tank mounting kit. Designed for strength, convenience, and easy installation, this kit gives you a clean and professional way to carry your welding bottles while keeping your cart mobile and organized.
Constructed from rugged 11-gauge steel, the kit is built to handle everyday shop use. It accepts tanks up to 9-1/4" in diameter and features an upgraded top mount with a heavy-duty ratchet strap to keep your bottles secure while moving around the shop or jobsite.
The top mount also includes three integrated TIG rod holder locations. Each opening measures 2-1/8", making them a perfect fit for standard 2" TIG rod tubes.
Installation is straightforward with no welding required. (Due to inconstancies in the carts manufacturing, you may have to ream out some holes or slots to fit your cart) This kit is designed to use the factory holes already built into your service cart. Simply relocate the original casters to the new lower deck using the included 3/8" carriage bolts and nuts. The remaining hardware is reused from the original toolbox. There are 2 optional places on the deck to drill holes and secure bolts if necessary.
You don't have to cut the rubber corner bumpers to make this kit work.
We do our best to provide enough adjustment in the slots and mounting holes so you won’t need to grind or enlarge anything. However, because Harbor Freight carts can vary slightly from unit to unit, minor adjustments may occasionally be needed. For the easiest installation, leave all hardware loose until every part is aligned, then tighten everything down.
